Coffee connoisseur brews up a new adventure

From Santa Clarita, California, Texas State University senior Peyton Burleson is eager for the journey ahead. Having a passion for effective communication and organization, she majors in Public Relations, with marketing and human resources being her potential fields of interest. Currently, Burleson works as a supervisor at Best Buy, where she keeps a cohesive and structured environment while enjoying the company of her co-workers.

A medium iced vanilla latte with no milk. This is Peyton Burleson’s go-to order at any coffee joint she visits. No matter where she goes, this blend can never disappoint. Typically, she’s always down for trying new types of coffee creations, unless banana flavors are involved—a big no in her book. When not on the hunt for her next cup of coffee, Burleson can be found indulging in a good book, weightlifting, or playing her favorite video game. Identifying as a foodie, she also loves cooking, baking, and discovering new dining options everywhere she goes.

Raised in a home immersed in Dad Rock, Burleson has developed an appreciation for many genres. With pop and country being her leading categories, she’s known as a dedicated Swiftie since childhood. Along with her love for Taylor Swift, her music list features artists such as Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter, and Morgan Wallen.

Burleson has recently grown an interest in photography and hopes to broaden her technique and explore new perspectives behind the lens during this trip to Lake Tahoe. Motivated by the journey ahead, she looks forward to learning in a small group, creating memories, and building new friendships.
